Injuries
Warning: This section will be talking about physical and mental health issues. We have done our best to label each section for what is listed in it so you know what is in it before you read and can navigate this section safely if you have medical related triggers.
We also ask that anyone who chooses to give their character a: disability, illness or substantial injury, that you must do research first. If you are going to take on the responsibility of representing something. We expect you to have the knowledge and maturity to do it with respect and good intentions. We have a right to intervene if we have reason to believe that the: disability, illness or substantial injury in question is portrayed in a way which does not align with the rules of the group.

Folk are magical beings, and therefore are very different from a lot of the same problems that old world bodies were plagued with and can heal most anything done to their bodies. Folk however still have a wide range of different types of medical ailments despite their healing factor. That can either be chronic or temporary, but are curable or manageable for a Folk with the right treatment and time. Sometimes these injuries can also happen while within the Kit stage. An egg, or even a little one in a pouch is very fragile and susceptible to damage while growing. These problems usually heal themselves as they grow, but sometimes injuries are caused by improper care, exposure to illness, genetics, or magic surges can be known to cause problems for kits and not heal very fast or hardly at all. |
Physical wounds almost always heal, it does take time, and sometimes it does not always happen correctly. Trama done to a Folk emotionally can alter their natural filtration of ether and disrupt proper healing. Thus particular traumatic experiences can create injuries that heal slower or almost not at all. Some folk may need therapy to get past these instances in order to aid healing to the injuries they sustained. Injuries caused by magic can also be hard to heal back and take longer to regenerate, or not regenerate at all. These injuries will need specialized medicine and doctors to be treated and healed.

The following list below can be given freely to any Folk without an injury upgrade. How it’s done is up to you- that be a traumatic injury, “they were just hatched with it”, or a mysterious illness which you can make up for you to decide:
- Hearing impairment/loss of hearing
- Loss of feeling in parts of the body
- Any Musculoskeletal, Neuromuscular, Neurological and or Skeletal System disorders
- Partial or full paralysis
- Sight impairment such as: Near-sightedness, Far-sightedness, Color Blindness as examples.
- Traumatic brain injury
- Allergies
- Asthma
- All orthopedic limitations such as: Arthritis, Fractures as examples.
- Any Neurodiveristy and Mental Health Disorders such as: ADHD, Autism and Depression as examples.
